This year, the Hammond Museum has chosen to honor Koichi Yanagi, Director of Koichi Yanagi Oriental Fine Arts in New York City, with the Natalie Hays Hammond Appreciation Award.

Mr. Yanagi, a strong supporter of the Hammond Museum and a noted member of the Japanese Cultural community, has done much to support the fine traditions of Japanese culture at the Hammond Museum, including the donation of our  precious Japanese tea room installed inside the Hammond Library Mansion.
