The first time this sculpture in silk organza was exhibited was in 2018 at a Solo Show in Seoul, Korea.
The installation of sculptures of Cocoons and Dances in Bojagi (contemporary Korean patchwork) is a celebration of girls and a social commentary on the millions of missing girls in China and India. It advocates for the Rights of Girls: to be born, to live, to dream, to experiment, to make mistakes, to dance, and this sculpture, 'The Butterfly', is an exhortation 'To reach for the Stars’.
