Course Description
This hands-on, process-based workshop explores the versatility of paper through three distinct approaches: papermaking, decoupage, and book folding. Each session focuses on a different technique, allowing students to experiment with both surface and structure while developing a deeper understanding of paper as an artistic medium. Participants will begin by creating handmade paper, then move into decorative surface design using collage and decoupage techniques, and finally explore simple book folding and paper construction methods. Emphasis is placed on experimentation, creativity, and discovering how a single material can be transformed in multiple ways. No prior experience is necessary. All supplies will be provided.
