Course Description
This workshop is a welcoming introduction to the fundamentals of drawing, designed for those with little to no experience. This contemporary, process-focused class invites you to slow down, observe closely, and build confidence through simple, engaging exercises. Working with line, shape, and form, you’ll explore the basics of mark making, proportion, and composition while developing your ability to truly see what’s in front of you. Through guided instruction and supportive feedback, you’ll learn how to translate observation into expressive, thoughtful drawings. No pressure, no perfection—just a space to begin. Whether you’ve always wanted to draw or are returning to creativity after time away, this class is the perfect place to start. All materials will be provided.
