Course Description
This hands-on workshop introduces teens to the exciting process of wheel throwing in clay. Students will learn the fundamentals of working on the pottery wheel, including centering clay, forming basic shapes, and refining their pieces through trimming and surface details. With guided instruction and plenty of individual attention, teens will build both technical skills and confidence while exploring their own creative style. Emphasis is placed on process, experimentation, and developing good studio habits in a supportive and engaging environment. All materials, tools, and firings are included. No prior experience is necessary. Clay pieces take four to five weeks to be fired. The school will notify you when pieces are ready to be picked up. Please wear clothes and we suggest long hair should be worn up.
