Course Description

Bring a horse to life—one layer of wool at a time! In this six-week course, you’ll learn how to transform a simple wire armature into a beautifully detailed, realistic horse using needle felting and sculptural techniques. Starting with the basic structure, you’ll build the body, add muscle and form, and finish with the tiny details that give your horse its personality and lifelike character. With step-by-step guidance throughout the process, you’ll learn the techniques needed to create a truly realistic fiber sculpture. All materials are included, along with take-home work so you can continue felting between classes and complete your horse within the six-week course.
