Nature-Inspired Mosaics

Course Description

Explore the colorful world of mosaics in a fun, relaxed atmosphere where creativity is at the heart of the experience. Participants will design and create their own mosaic artwork inspired by nature or choose to craft a functional work for your garden, such as wall hangings, or a garden rocks. Using a variety of materials including – ceramic tiles, glass, pottery, and found objects. Students will learn essential mosaic techniques, including design, cutting, tool use, and installation. Step-by-step guidance and individualized instruction will support both beginners and those with experience. Participants will learn the mortar method, so no messy grout is needed. This class is all about personal expression—experiment with colors, styles, and designs as you bring your vision to life. All materials, including thin set and tiles, are provided, and tools are available for use, though you’re welcome to bring your own. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop offers a relaxed, no-pressure space to connect with your creativity. All materials will be provided.
