Course Description

Explore the art of functional ceramics in this hands-on vase-making workshop for adults. Participants will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing techniques to create elegant, one-of-a-kind vases. The instructor will guide you through shaping, joining, and refining forms while exploring texture, surface design, and proportion. This workshop is ideal for beginners or those with some experience who want to improve their clay skills and create beautiful, functional pieces for the home. All materials are provided. Finished vases will be fired and ready for pick-up in approximately four to five weeks, with notifications sent when pieces are complete. Please wear clothes that can get muddy and we suggest long hair should be worn up. All materials will be provided.
