Let’s Get Muddy!

Course Description

A parent or family member or guardian must accompany each child enrolled. Costs: $80 for one parent and one child $40 for each additional child or relative in a family Get ready to squish, shape, create, and get a little messy! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of family pottery where parents, children, tweens, and teens can explore the joy of working with clay together. Learn the fundamentals of handbuilding pottery while creating a collaborative, one-of-a-kind project with your loved ones. Try your hand at fun techniques including coil building, slab construction, pinch pots, and more! Working with clay is a wonderful way to encourage creativity, imagination, motor skills, and creative thinking—all while spending quality time together and making something special. All materials are provided by the school. Finished pieces will be fired and ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks. The school will notify you when your creations are ready! Come ready to get muddy! Please wear clothes that can get dirty, and we recommend tying back long hair.
