Course Description
In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to sculpt a ceramic pumpkin using handbuilding techniques. Each step will be demonstrated and individual support will be given to ensure success! You can carve a face and illuminate it with a candle or LED light. Clay pumpkins will be bisque fired, clear glazed and glaze fired. Clay pieces take four to five weeks to be fired and the school will notify you when the pieces are ready to be picked up. Please wear clothes that can get muddy and we suggest long hair should be worn up. No experience necessary. All materials will be provided.
