Course Description
Curious about trying out the potter’s wheel? Join us for this to get your hands in clay and learn basic techniques to construct and throw simple forms on the wheel. Your skilled instructors guide through centering and will demonstrate various options for decorating your piece. The school provides clay, glaze and firing. Clay pieces take four weeks to be fired and the school will notify you when the pieces are ready to be picked up. Please wear clothes that can get muddy and we suggest long hair should be worn up. All materials will be provided.
