Course Description

When we observe a tree, we deepen our connection to it! With both studio time, and direct observation, we will capture trees, their natural beauty and unique form. The teacher will demonstrate through frottage, printmaking, charcoal drawings, and water media, the patterns within tree forms. Students will gain confidence in representing various tree forms in their artwork and explore mediums that expand their artistic vocabulary. Learn to reconnect to the symbiotic relationship we have with trees and work with other artist in a supportive and fun community.
