Curious about watercolor but not sure where to begin? This one-day introductory workshop is a perfect place to start. Designed for all skill levels, this workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of watercolor painting in a relaxed and supportive environment. Participants will explore basic materials, brush handling, color mixing, and essential techniques such as how water plays a vital role in washes, layering, and creating light and dark through value. Through step-by-step demonstrations and hands-on practice, you’ll learn how watercolor behaves and how to work with its fluid nature. You will leave with a stronger understanding of watercolor basics and the confidence to continue exploring the medium on your own. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment. All materials will be provided.
