Course Description

Make your new favorite sketchbook or journal in this Coptic Binding workshop. With roots as a Medieval book structure, the popularity of Coptic Binding with artists and book binders persists because of its fun to sew, beautiful exposed spine, creative cover options, and the relative ease in which it comes together in comparison to other intermediate sewn bindings. Some prior bookbinding or hand sewing experience will be helpful but adventurous beginners are also welcome. All materials will be provided.
