Course Description
Let your imagination guide you into the expressive world of needle felting in this creative, hands-on workshop. Participants will explore fiber sculpture using wool, wire, and needle felting techniques to create a one-of-a-kind abstract sculpture. The process begins with experimenting with form and movement, using wire to build simple structures and armatures. Wool is then layered and sculpted onto the framework, allowing shapes, textures, and ideas to evolve organically. Emphasis is placed on creative freedom rather than realism, encouraging exploration of color, balance, and surface design. This workshop is ideal for those interested in pushing beyond traditional felting and discovering new ways to express ideas through fiber. Participants will leave with a unique abstract wool sculpture and a deeper understanding of needle felting as a sculptural art form.
