Course Description
Explore the colorful world of mosaics in a fun, relaxed atmosphere where creativity is at the heart of the experience. In this hands-on workshop, participants will design and create their own abstract mosaic artwork. Using a variety of materials including – salvaged ceramic tiles, glass, pottery, pvc pipe, construction debris and found objects – students will learn essential mosaic techniques, including design, cutting, tool use, and execution. Step-by-step guidance and individualized instruction will support both the beginner and t hose with experience. Students will learn the mortar method, so you won’t have to use messy grout. This class is all about personal expression—experiment with colors, styles, and designs as you bring your vision to life. All materials, including thin set and tiles, are provided, and tools are available for use, though you’re welcome to bring your own. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop offers a relaxed, no-pressure space to connect with your creativity. All materials will be provided.
