In 2015 I was invited to show new work at the Arsenal Gallery in Central Park in New York City. I was allowed to trail the weeding crew at the Conservatory Garden in the park and to gather the discarded flowers. I rubbed the petals onto paper creating colorful stains which I subsequently used for a series of collages. I identified the colors with the Latin names of the plants.
