I took this photograph one morning after collecting the boldly colored eggs delivered by my bold little hens. As the light grows shorter in the day, they lay less, and although the eggs were of a stunning color I still manipulated the picture so it appeared flattened like paper. The yellow plastic bucket they are sitting in is no longer a bucket but a surreal almost comical platform.
