The idea for this drawing came from a visit along the Long Island Sound for a Sea Grant Project I was the recipient of back in 2014 made possible by the University of Connecticut Avery Point and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The drawing was made in 2020. The pattern of the seafoam drawing is from the memory of a visit to Knapps Landing in Stratford overlooking the Housatonic River.
