Watercolors: Fundamentals

Course Description

We will build on foundational watercolor techniques while exploring creative composition, expressive color, and refined control of the medium. Students will work from still life and photographic references as they explore value, color mixing, and compositional design. Throughout the course, students will strengthen both their watercolor technique and their artistic eye as they create paintings that bring quiet subjects into the spotlight.
