Course Description

Learn the basics of what is needed for satisfying portrait drawing, painting, or both. The workshop will discuss how to pose and light the model for creating the optimal artistic composition. From here the students are encouraged to sight angles and find planes which the instructor will point out personally and with demonstrations. We will then delve into rendering and the finishing process. All levels and materials are welcome. Students can work in dry materials, pastels, oil and acrylics.
