Course Description

This hands-on workshop guides participants through the step-by-step process of creating a realistic animal sculpture using needle felting techniques. Students will begin by forming a simple wire armature to create the animal’s pose and structure, then layer and sculpt wool to build shape and volume. Techniques for refining form, adding texture, and creating realistic details such as facial features and fur will be demonstrated throughout the session. Finishing touches bring the sculpture to life with added character and expression. Participants will leave with a unique, handmade needle-felted animal and the skills needed to continue exploring wool sculpture. All materials will be provided.
