Course Description

A parent or family member or guardian must accompany each child enrolled. Join us for some family fun for parents, children, tweens or teens interested in learning to create hand-built pieces while getting messy. Come spend the afternoon making a collaborative project together with your loved ones. Explore the fundamentals of hand building with techniques such as coil building, slab construction, pinching and more. Help develop motor skills, imagination, and creative thinking while creating a one-of-a-kind piece. The school supplies all materials. Clay pieces take three to four weeks to be fired. The school will notify you when pieces are ready to be picked up. Please wear clothes that can get muddy and we suggest long hair should be worn up. Costs: $130 for one parent and one child $65 for each additional child or relative in a family
