Holiday Serving Plate

Course Description

In this workshop you will build a beautiful serving dish for your holiday table! Using various techniques in clay, such as slab and coil building, you will create a custom platter for your kitchen and decorate it with underglazes, stamping, and transfers. This workshop is for beginner to intermediate potters, ready to explore their creativity! Handbuilding allows for freedom and ultimate expression of individuality. Choose the shape, design, and look of your piece. Clay and firing will be included. Plates will take two to three weeks to be fired. The office will contact you when pieces are ready to be picked up. Please wear clothes that can get muddy and we suggest long hair should be worn up.
