Foundation Drawing

Course Description

The course will teach beginners the essentials for drawing, starting with set up and materials. All fundamentals are covered, including contour drawing, proportions, shading, mixing colors, composition, using a palette knife, mark-making and more. Every week a new technique will be discussed. Students will learn the effective way to achieve their own personal vision through the introduction of these techniques. The instructor will work closely with the student’s utilizing demos, followed by individual instruction. Please refer to the supply list on the website.
