Course Description

This experimental course invites students to explore the creative possibilities of mixed media by combining a variety of materials such as pen and ink, watercolor, collage, and found objects. Through hands-on experimentation and guided techniques, students will learn how to layer, integrate, and balance diverse elements to create visually rich and conceptually engaging artwork. Emphasis is placed on process, texture, and personal expression, encouraging students to push boundaries and discover new approaches to making art. Suitable for beginners and intermediate artists; no experience required. Materials for the first class will be provided. Additional materials student should bring will be discussed. (Class will not meet February 16)
