Botanical Illustration w/Various Mediums

Course Description

The botanical course that will teach you how to highlight a plant's particular distinguishing features which enable botanists to tell one plant from another while presenting them in an artistic way. Focus will be given to identifying features of plants, (brief botany), composition, tonal studies and color studies. By the end of the class series, you will have a good foundational understanding of botanical illustration. There will be one project a week and if desired an at home assignment. This course will work at your pace, you can decide how in-depth you want to go. Please see link below for a supply list. (No class October 2, Yom Kippur)
