Course Description
A foundational course on accurate observation, basic drawing skills, and rendering simple plant forms using line, value, and shape in an artistic way. Focus will be given to identifying features of plants, (brief botany), composition, tonal studies and color studies. By the end of the class series, you will have a good foundational understanding of botanical illustration. There will be one project a week and if desired an at home assignment. This course will work at your pace, you can decide how in-depth you want to go. Please see the supply list on the website.
