Free Opening Day Celebration
Saturday, May 15, 2021, 12-4pm
Come stroll the beautiful garden, now in full spring bloom. Listen to frogs croaking and bamboo creaking. Move to the jazz of Chick's Candy Store while enjoying demonstrations of tai-chi exercise, ikebana flower arranging, story time for children, and a meditative Japanese Tea Ceremony. Stroll the 4-acre grounds by yourself, think quietly in the Zen rock garden, or join a Board member-led tour of the garden or an artist-guided one of the Hammond's opening exhibition of East Asian brush paintings. Refreshments will be available, and the day is free! Our frogs are excited to have visitors again!
