Burned Agave Trunk, Suspended Wood Branches, Organic Mixed Media

Description:
Once filled with liquid, the agave plant births a tall stalk which ultimately overpowers and topples it. The plant then dies; this one, found after a desert burn. Its open receptacle could be nest or refuge, or suggest instead the uncharted unknown.
