This painting is somewhat a walk to, and through, a scenic overlook during a pandemic. Through a linear landscape, with a practice where peripheral thinking collages with a cubist lens, Gellatly offers a mid-arching, open story, a story that can go in either direction. For now, it's a balancing between chaos and calm.
