About the Event

Please join us for an afternoon/evening of modern music! As part of A Plethora of Plants: Real, Observed, Imagined exhibition, Part Ridge will perform Flos Vitae, an original work that reflects the stages of flower development, and other improvisational works consistent with the theme of the exhibition.

Part Ridge is a contemporary free-improvisational music ensemble. The group focuses on sonic variations of minimally composed cells that open-up through the exploration of the improvisors. The result is a varied collage of spectral sound-art. Part Ridge is Adam Fisher: Woodwinds; Mark Maxwell: Synthesizers; Russell Davies: Keyboards; Vin Sarno: Guitar; Tom Smith: Bass Guitar; and Owen Davies: Drums.
