About the Event
The Hammond Museum revives our grand tradition of Chess Tournaments! Bring your chess set (if you have one) and come for an exciting day of competitive fun. Players of all levels and ages are welcome. Walk-ins Welcome. Please indicate your level of play: Beginner, Intermediate, Open.
10:30am Participants arrive
11am Competition begins with four or five rounds (depending on attendance) of competition. Each round will last approximately one hour. Participants should bring their own chess sets and clocks, if available. The tournament will be followed by a reception with refreshments, lawn games, and prizes!
