About the Event
Come to the Hammond Museum during your Winter Recess and embark on an exciting African Safari led by Chris Evers of Animal Embassy! Join us for a live animal adventure and meet animals from Africa, the Land of Giants. On our safari at the Hammond, we will journey to the savannah, desert, and bush of Africa. Our experienced and fearless naturalist and guide Chris Evers will introduce us to live African Dwarf Hedgehogs, an African Bull Frog, a Dumeril’s Boa Constrictor, an African Crested Porcupine, and more. Bring your pith helmet or safari hat, and your imagination! After our journey, we will refresh ourselves with a tasty snack, make a craft project, and settle in for some wonderful stories.
Each student must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Each caregiver may bring up to 3 students. Program limited to 18 students.
