About the Event
Careful viewing and study of each part of the plant is critical before one attempts an ink painting. For this lesson we will focus on the lotus flower, pods, leaves, stems and roots. Chinese painting methods range from fine, controlled brushwork to freehand style to a combination of fine and freehand brushwork. Artist Wang Mansheng will introduce and discuss them through his demonstration.
