Sheilah Rechtschaffer

This retrospective exhibition is a compilation of iconic series by the celebrated artist Sheilah Rechtschaffer (1938-2021).

A master of color, Rechtschaffer's impressionist works and environmental installations were thought-provoking, tackling ideas of the futility and the horrors of war and social justice issues in a way that sees the inevitable optimism that springs forth in the quiet of the aftermath, visible in her Green in Vietnam series. This exhibition includes
works from her recent joyful Jazz series.
