Join the Hammond's Artist's Club

The Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden in North Salem, New York, is an eminent cultural institution with generous exhibit spaces and a serene Japanese-inspired  garden. Art exhibitions, musical performances, Japanese tea ceremonies, and other activities are just a few of the many cultural events offered. It is a unique and inspiring museum with a big heart, building an artist community locally and globally.

Hammond Artist's Club Dues    $40
 

Open to Artists Worldwide in All Art Media and Disciplines

Artist’s Club participants will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Artist’s Salon – each month during the Hammond’s open season and every other month in the off-season, gather together with other artists (in person and online). Each session will be hosted by a different presenter and focus on a specific topic and will include conversation, along with lectures, workshops, and/or demonstrations….and refreshments

  • Artist’s Club Directory – each artist will be featured on the club page on our website, see directory here

  • Artist Club News – club participants are invited to send news of and links to their current shows and projects for posting on a special blog page on our website and promoted on the Hammond’s social media pages

  • Artist of the Month – one Artist Club member will be featured each month on the Club’s blog page with news about his/her work and current activities

  • Artists’ Parade – participate in an annual in-person and online gathering for the Hammond community and present a slide talk on current projects and work

  • Holiday Art Show and Sale – Artist’s Club participants are invited to exhibit a selection of work from mid-November to mid-December at the Hammond, culminating in a Holiday Sale and Celebration

​Submissions for inclusion in Hammond Artist's Club Directory, please include:

 

  • Name

  • One link to your website or to a social media page of your choice

  • An image of one of your art works

  • Image should be a jpeg, approximately square, and at least 1mb in size or measure at least 1,200 pixels

  • A 2-3 sentence artist's statement

Club fees fund the group’s activities and projects, including speakers, art materials, refreshments, Artist’s Club exhibition and Parade costs, and related expenses.
