Reflecting on the time I went through cancer, as I go through cards, notes from emails I'm thinking of all the wonderful people who supported me through that rough journey. Now looking back, I'm shocked by so many who were also going through their own difficult times, as well as those who hadn't known they too were about to dive into this work. As I recognize the threads of our lives woven through times in our lives together, saddened by losing so many along this path, I honor each and every one of them in my heart. I'm so grateful I've had each in my life even if it were but a moment in time. I guess this is what aging in a body is about; rejoicing in those that went before us, beside us, for a given time. I'm so grateful to each and every one.
