Ingredients and tools for sushi online
Short grain rice (sushi rice, Japanese rice) : 3 cups uncooked
Sushi vinegar (seasoned rice vinegar) : ½ cup
Nori (roasted seaweed sheet) : 3 sheets
Roasted sesame seeds
Cucumber
Crab meat (fish cake) or smoked salmon
Avocado
Carrot
Pickled ginger
Parsley or cilantro (for decoration)
Pot with the lid (medium heaviness)
Bamboo mat 10" or 11"
Plastic wrap

Yoshimi Arai, the principal of Magokoro New York, will be your host and instructor. She is an expert in the fine arts of Japanese culinary presentations and handmade design accessories. Many of her fine arts have been available at the Hammond Museum Gift Shop for many years.
