This course is designed for students of all skill levels. Beginners will learn the fundamental techniques of working with clay, while those with prior experience on the wheel can further develop and refine their throwing and handbuilding skills. Students will practice creating and perfecting simple forms while also exploring more complex shapes. Instruction includes demonstrations on throwing cylinders, cups, bowls, and other foundational forms. Various methods of surface decoration and glazing will also be introduced or expanded upon, with guidance tailored to each student’s individual experience and skill level.
