Watercolor: Expanding Your Skills

Course Description

Take your watercolor painting to the next level in this intermediate course designed for students who have a basic understanding of watercolor techniques and are ready to build on their skills. Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual instruction, students will explore more advanced techniques including layering, glazing, color mixing, composition, and creating depth and texture. Emphasis will be placed on developing confidence, refining technique, and encouraging personal expression. Students will work from a variety of subjects, including still life, landscape, and photographic reference, while expanding their artistic voice in a supportive studio environment. Some prior watercolor experience is recommended. All materials will be provided. (No class November 24)
