Course Description
Step into a world of magic and imagination in this three-day clay camp! Young artists will design and build their own enchanted castle and create a fantasy world filled with fairies, knights, princesses, dragons, elves, dinosaurs, gnomes, and other magical creatures. Through imaginative storytelling and hands-on sculpting, each camper will bring a unique kingdom to life with creative details and colorful characters. Along the way, campers will learn essential pottery techniques, including pinch, coil, and slab construction, while exploring texture, form, and sculpture through clay. All materials, tools, glazing, and firings are included, and no prior clay experience is necessary. Due to the ceramic firing process, completed pieces will be ready for pickup approximately four to five weeks after the camp ends. The school will notify families when artwork is available. Please wear clothing suitable for working with clay, and tie back long hair for safety and comfort.
