Course Description

In this engaging workshop, explore acrylic painting by creating your own interpretation of a masterwork by a well-known artist. Studying and re-creating great paintings is a time-honored practice in art education, and it’s a wonderful way to learn technique, composition, and color. You’ll be guided through image transfer methods and fundamental acrylic painting techniques step by step. No drawing experience required. Past sessions have featured artists such as Van Gogh, Cézanne, and Georgia O’Keeffe. Enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment while building skills and leaving with a painting inspired by the masters. All materials will be provided.
