On the ground I find locust leaves with patterns of perfectly round holes. I am inspired by these configurations and pin them (like specimens) so the shadows accentuate the patterns and I’m able to focus on the beauty of the light, wind and shadow play on them. (I was told the holes are made by the Miner Beetle).
In the early fall the leaves I found were all yellow, and I created a large assemblage.
