I have painted with Sumi (traditional Japanese stick ink) onto handmade kozo/mulberry paper. Over this I have painted with iridescent acrylic paint and added more textured Japanese papers from Kyoto.
My fascination with the quality of light and its effects are central to the inspiration for the work 'If the color of a soul is light are our eyes the prisms that reflect individual vision?’
