Visually, I experiment with opposites: energy and stillness, spontaneity and deliberation, balance and asymmetry. My paintings can also be about revelation: revealing the artist’s mind, the hidden world of the subject, the raw, the veiled, the unspoken.

"Wild and Free" is a free exploration of color and form in watercolor on Arches rag paper. I was inspired by the freedom and open spirit of the "muse painting" to enter this work.
