About the Event

Frank Liao is a master of flower and bird painting in the colorful Ling-nan style. Birds and insects are an important element in traditional Chinese flower paintings. They contribute a sense of season and help to balance the composition. In this workshop you will learn to paint a range of little creatures—birds, butterflies, dragonflies, praying mantis, snails, bees and wasps, which you can then draw on to enhance the artistic conception of all your flower paintings.
