Moonviewing Picnic & Concert
Friday, August 24
Picnic at 6:30 pm
Concert at 8:30pm

At the Hammond Museum the annual MoonViewing party is a tradition that was begun by Natalie Hays Hammond in 1966. The evening includes music and sake, and both are accompanied by our frogs. The Japanese Stroll Garden, lit by paper laterns, is a magical setting for this ancient custom, which every August brings together people and traditions of the East and West.

Admission Prices:
Concert is $15 for members of the Hammond Museum and Japan Society of Fairfield County; $20 for nonmembers; free for residents of North Salem

Individual bento boxes will be available for $15 each. Choices are: Chicken teriyaki with vegetabe roll, shumai (shrimp dumpling), and white rice
OR vegetarian - sauteed mix vegetables with vegetable roll, vegetable spring roll, and white rice

To make a reservation, please call the Hammond at 914-669-5033 or email gardenprogram@yahoo.com
