Kadomatsu  Bonsai workshop

Kadomatsu is a traditional Japanese ornament displayed at a corner of each
house for the new year. You will make your own miniature Kadomatsu
which can be displayed on a table in your home.

There will be several samples of tabletop Kadomatsu to inspire your own piece.

Cost: $70. ($20. fee plus $50. materials)
Deposit of $10.00 per person to reserve your place.

*Materials include:
3 pieces of bamboo bound as a centerpiece
Live plants such as small bamboo, juniper or box wood bonsai
White stone pebbles or black glass marble
Small flowers
Soils
Tray 

*Please bring a box to carry home your Kadomatsu.

A traditional tea ceremony will be performed and you can experience a taste of Japanese tea.
