Art Exhibit - Guild Hall
“Brush with Nature” -
Chinese Brush paintings by the Oriental Brush Artists Guild.
In their annual exhibition, Brush with Nature, the Oriental Brush Artists Guild presents recent work by their members, dedicated to the memory of member Arlene Quigley. Of traditional Chinese brush painting the Guild says:

“Traditional Chinese painting is rooted in the Zen-like tranquility of nature. Creating the art is a serene discipline and those who attempt it find a great source of peace and accomplishment. The paintings that seem so free and effortless, however, represent hours spent practicing individual brush strokes. It is the perfection of each stroke, combined with the artist’s insight and feeling that produces a beautiful painting.”
